By placing the PCs remotely, all the noise and heat they generate is kept away from the classroom and means comfortable, quiet and completely clutter-free classrooms. This solution also significantly reduces your air-conditioning costs as air-conditioning is not required to suck out the substantial heat produced by the PCs, offering excellent green benefits and dramatically reducing your electricity bills.

 

Intelligent Furniture enables you to optimise your space - because everything is hidden away, the workstation footprint is much smaller, meaning more desks can be fitted into each room - no more sharing of PCs by pupils! We also offer flexible solutions whereby the IT room becomes a normal classroom in a matter of moments.

Theft and damage to computers is always a concern in schools. With our solution, PCs become virtually damage/theft proof as they are hidden away invisibly inside the desk or nearby storage area.

Our products are custom built to your exact requirements, so you can design your perfect suite - all for suprisingly reasonable price. As our technology works with industry-standard PCs (HP, Dell etc) and doesn't invalidate the manufacturer's warranty, you are welcome to supply the PCs or we can source them for you. You then retain full control of your suite and can modify or upgrade the PCs as you wish.

The heat generated by a room full of PCs is significant, upto 400 watts per unit, meaning that energy-sucking devices like air-conditioning need to be used to keep the room at a pleasant temperature. With our remote-control, the PCs can be hidden up to 20m away, meaning the PCs can be stored in a separately-vented nearby room or central area.

 

With the power button at your fingertips, this reduces electrical consumption by encouraging users to switch their PC off when not in use. Our remote-control typically creates 10% - 15% more usable space than the usual desk with PC positioned underneath, meaning that many more users can be fitted comfortably in the available space, minimising the amount of rooms that need to be powered, lit and heated.
